PARAMOUNT SHAKES UP GLOBAL MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION JOSH GOLDSTINE, WHOSE WARNER BROS RUN INCLUDED 'BARBIE,' IS IN TALKS TO TAKE OVER FOR MARC WEINSTOCK, WHO IS EXITING Motion picture marketing czar Josh Goldstine is in final talks to come aboard Paramount as the new Global Head of Marketing and Distribution. Sources tell Deadline he will fill the key post under the studio’s new Motion Picture co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein. The new David Ellison-run Paramount hasn’t made the news official quite yet. Rumors had swirled as far back as Oscar weekend that Goldstine met with Ellison soon after his exit at Warner Bros. No contracts could be inked, however, until after last month's close of the Paramount-Skydance merger. Marc Weinstock has led Global Marketing and Distribution at Paramount since 2019, taking the studio to its highest global-grossing hit (and Tom Cruise’s as well) in the Skydance co-produced Top Gun: Maverick ($1.49 billion).
