EMMY NOMINATIONS: 'SEVERANCE' LEADS FIELD, 'ADOLESCENCE' & 'HACKS' SCORE NEWCOMERS 'THE PITT', 'PARADISE', 'NOBODY WANTS THIS' AND 'THE STUDIO' ALSO MAKE THEIR PRESENCE FELT In this morning's nominations for the 77th annual Emmy Awards, Severance led the field and was the most nominated drama, while Hacks gathered the most nods in comedy and Adolescence in limited series. Newcomers like The Pitt, Paradise, Nobody Wants This and The Studio secured nominations for Outstanding Drama and Comedy Series. That also led to nominations for Noah Wyle (The Pitt), Sterling K. Brown (Paradise), Seth Rogen (The Studio) and Kristen Bell and Adam Brody (both for Nobody Wants This). The freshman breakouts joined legacy competitors like Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building in comedy and The Diplomat and Slow Horses in drama. Final voting by Academy members will happen between August 18 and August 27.
