Deepika Padukone flies to Bangalore to celebrate Gehraiyaan success with family Feb 26th 2022, 14:24, by Mid-day Deepika finally took a breather and left for Bangalore which is her hometown to celebrate the success of her film Gehraiyaan and the phenomenal reactions with her family as they reside there. The star will be in the city over the weekend and gets back on Monday to dive headfirst into her film commitments and other work commitments. Recently, Shakun Batra opened up to mid-day.com about his favourite scene from Gehraiyaan. He said, "One of the scenes that I thoroughly enjoyed shooting was where Deepika (Padukone) goes to Nashik and Naseer (Naseeruddin Shah) and she meet for the first time in the film. That was fun to shoot, there's a lot going on, from drama to resentment, emotions being held back and then there's an explosion. Apart from that the thing that makes me happiest is that people are dissecting the film and arriving at things that I wondered if anybody would even look at, when we talk about choices, destiny, those things are wonderful to hear." Also, just a few days ago, Deepika took to her Instagram handle to express gratitude by sharing some photographs from the film.  She wrote, "The response to Gehraiyaan has been dizzying to say the least! `Alisha` has been my most visceral, indelible and delicious experience as an artist. While I am ecstatic and overwhelmed, I am also truly grateful and humbled!" The movie also stars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa in lead roles. Shakun Batra`s directorial is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film is about the modern-day romance between adults and based on the complexities of relationships proved to be an "emotionally exhausting" experience for adults.
