Continuing with diplomacy, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has wrapped up his less than 24 hours visit to Pakistan. As an ace diplomat, he has smiled, shook hands, and firmly delivered India’s message to both Pakistan and China.

The Pushkar Singh Dhami-led Uttarakhand government has issued a series of instructions to the police, including setting up CCTVs inside the kitchens of hotels, dhabas, and eateries, to stop incidents of people allegedly spitting into food and beverages, Neelam Pandey reports.

There’s a steady flow of academics across Delhi’s leading universities who’d rather languish in courtrooms than outside their vice chancellor’s office. In fact, doing the rounds of court might even be quicker. Whether it’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi University (DU), or Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD)—a dizzying number of faculty members have made a rather dramatic switch—from classroom to court, writes ThePrint's Antara Baruah.

The contribution of manufacturing to overall employment has declined, while the share of the agricultural sector has increased. This indicates a “reversal of structural transformation“ from a higher productivity sector to a lower one.
